Let’s check out the companies that are becoming a hot topic for after-hours trading. Cal-Maine Foods – Shares rose 4% after the egg producer released its latest quarterly results. In the second quarter of fiscal 2025, Calmaine Foods earned $4.47 per share on revenue of $954.7 million, the latter figure increasing 82% compared to the same period last year. Due to thin coverage, the results could not be compared with Street estimates. AAR Corp – Shares of the aviation services provider rose about 4% after the company’s second-quarter results beat Wall Street expectations. AAR Corp. posted adjusted revenue of 90 cents per share on revenue of $686.1 million, which beat analysts’ expectations of 85 cents per share or $654.2 million, according to FactSet. AZZ – Shares rose about 1% after the metal coating company reported better-than-expected third-quarter results. AZZ reported adjusted earnings per share of $1.39 on revenue of $403.7 million. That beat the $1.26 per share and $394.3 million in revenue expected by analysts surveyed by FactSet. Getty Images – Image database share fell 4%. In regular trading Tuesday, Getty soared more than 24% and Shutterstock soared nearly 15% after the companies announced a $3.7 billion merger. Shutterstock was little changed in after-hours trading.
